Camp Description
If it erupted, oozed, dripped, gurgled or blurped out of a volcano then prepare to learn about it all during this virtual camp! Throughout the camp week, campers learn how to identify various types of rocks, compare popcorn to volcanic gas, release rotten egg gas on demand, and recreate a Pyroclastic Explosion. Join our professional Science Explorer counselors for a rockin’ good time at this virtual camp. This camp will be a blast!
Note: Campers receive their very own science kit, delivered to their homes, at least a week before programming begins. This kit includes a variety of materials and includes a collection of 10 volcanic rocks.
✓ Registration for this camp is accepted up until Thursday at midnight, 12 days prior to the Monday camp start day – this cutoff date accounts for the time to mail the kit in time for the start of the camp date.

*Intermission means OAC is offline and not providing activity or supervising campers during this time.
