Camp Description
If your young chef is a US History aficionado (or if you’d like him/her to be more interested in Social Studies), this is a perfect summer solution! Kitchen Wizards will guide the kids through preparing foods that were favorites of past US Presidents – and they’ll also learn some fun facts about our country’s forefathers from BOTH sides of the aisle. POLITICS will NOT be on the menu, but encouraging children to take an interest in presidential history and the election process. Since this is a virtual program and taught remotely. Therefore, the focus of the camp will be on fun, learning and most of all, safety. Young chefs will spend the majority of the time preparing the food and learning about common kitchen and cooking etiquette. Kitchen Wizards will invite both campers and parents to work together, at the end of the day (dinner time), to cook and/or bake the food. Both a “how to cook the meal” recipe and a step-by-step video will be shared each day via email to the parents. Parent supervision is required for any activity using sharp knives, burners, or stoves/ovens.
