Desserts From Around The World

This is a new program that has been added since Cookies Around the World was such a big success this summer! Therefore, we are building upon the “Cookies” theme – offering a program for kids ages 7-12. Young chefs will have the opportunity to learn a little about geography and climate, and a lot about which desserts are enjoyed by persons who live in all parts of the world!  Get your travelling chef hats on and prepare for the ultimate journey as campers “travel” the globe. “Take a foodie tour” in multiple countries to learn what kinds of treats kids in other countries enjoy as a tasty, after-meal dessert. Mmmm. Delicious! This is a virtual program and taught remotely. Therefore, the focus of the camp will be on fun, learning and most of all, safety. Young chefs will spend the majority of the time preparing the food and learning about common kitchen and cooking etiquette. Kitchen Wizards will invite both campers and parents to work together, at the end of the day (dinner time), to cook and/or bake the food. Both a “how to cook the meal” recipe and a step-by-step video will be shared each day via email to the parents. Parent supervision is required for any activity using sharp knives, burners, or stoves/ovens.
